Six Thirty is operated by Dixie Dingo Holdings, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. See also our Terms of Service.
The short version. We store what your household eats and the dietary rules you tell us, because the product cannot work without them. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to train anything. You can ask for a copy or ask us to delete all of it, any time, and we will. Health conditions stay in Six Thirty. Connected AI assistants receive only general food guidance, never the condition itself. Some guidance may still suggest a health need. Notes and won't-eat are passed on as you wrote them, except that health condition words we recognize are taken out first. Don't put medical details there.
What we collect
Your name and email address.
For each person in your household: a name, and the dietary rules, conditions, allergies and dislikes you enter. Some of this is health information. We collect it only because a meal plan that ignores an allergy is worse than no meal plan. Health information is used only to filter and plan meals. It is never sold, used for advertising, or used to train models, and you can edit or delete it any time. Health conditions stay in Six Thirty. Connected AI assistants receive only general food guidance, never the condition itself. Some guidance may still suggest a health need.
What is in your kitchen, and what your meal plans use up. A photo you share in ChatGPT or Claude is read there. We save the structured result, such as a list of items or a recipe's title and ingredients. We don't keep receipt or pantry photos. A recipe photo is saved only when you choose to import it, and only for your household. When you import a cookbook page or recipe card, we save the photo as you took it, minus any location details, and use it as the recipe's picture. Only people signed in to your household can open it.
Recipes you save: the title, the source, a link, and the ingredients, plus small details like servings, a vegetarian swap note and the recipe's picture.
The ZIP code you type in, if you type one.
Receipts you choose to forward. We keep the food items, not the message. A receipt you share in ChatGPT or Claude is saved as those food items.
What we never store
Card numbers. Six Thirty is free to start, with no card needed. If you choose a paid plan, your payment is handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and we never see or store your card number. We keep only your plan, its status and renewal date, and the processor's customer ID.
Cooking methods from websites. We never copy a website's steps or headnotes. A recipe you save from the web is its title, source, link and ingredients, and the link takes you to the cook's own page for the method. A photo you import of a cookbook page or recipe card is saved as you took it, minus any location details.
Bank details, membership or loyalty account numbers. We don't save these from receipts. To read a receipt you forward, its full text passes through Cloudflare and Anthropic first (see "Who helps us run Six Thirty"), and then we keep only the store name and food items.
Your email password or mailbox access. Forwarding sends us only the messages you forward.
The full household API key. We store a hash. The key itself is shown once, on the account page.
Device location. We never ask for your device's location, and we remove location details from recipe photos you import before saving them.
Who sees it
Health conditions stay in Six Thirty. Connected AI assistants receive only general food guidance, never the condition itself. Some guidance may still suggest a health need. You still see each condition in the app. ChatGPT, Claude, and any other assistant connected to the household receive plain food guidance instead, such as lower added sugar and steady carbs, or go easy on onion, garlic, beans and wheat, along with allergies, celiac, and intolerances as named food rules. A condition you type that Six Thirty does not recognize is left out of what those assistants receive. Notes and won't-eat are passed on as you wrote them, except that health condition words we recognize are taken out first. Don't put medical details there.
To generate a plan, Six Thirty sends that food guidance, the named food rules, and the rest of the household's food preferences to Anthropic's API. It does not send the names of health conditions. Reading a receipt, reading a recipe, checking recalls, and the in-app kitchen editor do not include health condition names. When your household searches for recipes, the search words are sent to Parallel (parallel.ai) to find recipe pages. Those words are the dish idea and food restrictions such as 'nut-free.' A cuisine, a few foods from the kitchen, a time, and recipe sites you picked can be included. Names, email addresses, and other household details are not sent. Anthropic still turns what Parallel found into a title and ingredients. Anthropic does not train on data submitted through the API. The service is hosted on Railway, which stores the database and files in the United States. Cloudflare provides DNS and email forwarding. What you type or show in ChatGPT or Claude, and the results Six Thirty returns there, is handled by OpenAI or Anthropic under their own policies. Nothing is sent to advertisers or data brokers, because we do not have any.
Who helps us run Six Thirty
These companies help us run Six Thirty. Each one gets only what it needs for its job. Six Thirty doesn't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Railway: hosting and our database. Six Thirty runs on Railway. Everything your household saves is stored there: your household, kitchen, plans, lists, recipes, recipe photos you import, sign-in records, and our server logs. All visits to Six Thirty pass through Railway.
Anthropic: the AI behind plans, recipe search results, receipts, recalls and lists.
Planning. To plan your week, Six Thirty sends Anthropic the first name you gave each person, so a meal can fit the right person. With it go that person's food rules and plain food guidance, their won't-eat, and your notes. Health condition words we recognize are taken out of those first. It also sends who packs a lunch, what's in your kitchen, your recipe titles, the meals you already cook and what you made last week, and the cuisines you like.
Recipe search results. When Parallel finds recipe pages, those results go to Anthropic with your household's food rules and kitchen, but not anyone's name, so it can pick recipes that fit. If Parallel can't find recipes, Anthropic's own web search runs the search instead. Names are sent only to plan your week, never for recipe search.
Receipts. To read a receipt you forward, Anthropic receives the full text of that email. We then keep only the store name and food items.
Health conditions. It does not send the names of health conditions. Reading a receipt, reading a recipe, checking recalls, and the in-app kitchen editor do not include health condition names.
Parallel: recipe search.
Resend: sign-in email. Resend sends your sign-in code and link. It receives your email address and that email, and nothing about your household.
Cloudflare: web address. Cloudflare runs our web address.
Stripe: payments, once billing is on. If you choose a paid plan, you enter your card on Stripe's page. Stripe receives your email address and a household number so we can match your payment to you. We never see or store your card number.
Google Fonts: the lettering on our pages. Every Six Thirty page loads its fonts from Google, so Google sees your device's internet address and browser type when you visit.
Recipe websites and their image hosts.
To show a recipe's picture, our server visits that recipe's page and sends only the page address, never anything about your household.
When you open your week in the app, your browser loads recipe pictures straight from those sites, so they see your device's internet address and browser type.
Food recall notices. To check recalls, we ask the FDA and USDA for their public recall lists. Nothing about your household is sent to them. Matching your kitchen to those notices is done by Anthropic, as above.
ChatGPT, Claude and other assistants you connect. When you use Six Thirty there, the assistant receives what you ask for, which can include first names, food rules and guidance, your kitchen, plans, lists and recipes. What you type or show in ChatGPT or Claude, and the results Six Thirty returns there, is handled by OpenAI or Anthropic under their own policies.
We don't use analytics or advertising tools on our pages.
Food recalls
We compare your kitchen against recent public FDA and USDA recall notices and may show possible matches in the app. A match can be wrong, and we can miss a recall. We are not a food safety authority and we will never tell you that your food is safe. Always read the official notice and check the lot code yourself.
Not medical advice
This product helps a household plan and shop. It is not medical or dietetic advice and does not replace a doctor or a registered dietitian.
Your choices
A copy of everything. Email [email protected] and we'll put together a copy of your household's information by hand and send it to you. There's no download button yet.
Deletion. You can delete your household yourself in the app, in household settings, with Delete household. That permanently erases it and disconnects ChatGPT and Claude. You can also email [email protected] and we will delete it. This is permanent.
Corrections. Most of it you can edit yourself in the app.
Signing out and disconnecting.
Signing out: your browser stays signed in for 30 days after you last use Six Thirty, and never longer than 90 days. Signing out ends that sign-in on our side, so it can't be used again.
Disconnecting an assistant: to stop ChatGPT or Claude from using Six Thirty, remove Six Thirty in that assistant's settings. A connection that goes unused for 90 days stops working on its own. To end every connection on our side, delete your household.
Keys: keys you created on the account page can be turned off there.
Stop. Close your account whenever you like, for any reason or none.
How it is kept
Data is encrypted in transit. Each household's records are isolated so one household cannot read another's. Deleting your household removes it from our live database right away. It doesn't reach copies made before you deleted it: a backup copy, our server logs, or what the companies listed above already received. See "How long we keep your data."
This is an early product run by a very small team. We will tell you directly, without delay, if anything happens to your data.
How long we keep your data
Most of what your household saves stays until you delete your household, because that's what lets Six Thirty remember you.
Your household: people, allergies, conditions, diets, won't-eat, lunches and notes. Kept until you change them or delete your household.
Your kitchen, week plans and shopping lists: Kept until you delete your household. That includes every past week, items you've bought, and items you've used up or removed, which are marked as gone rather than erased. Staples you remove from your regular supplies are erased right away.
Saved recipes: Kept until you delete the recipe or your household.
Recipe photos you import: Kept with the recipe. Deleting the recipe deletes its photo right away, and deleting your household erases all of its photos.
Your activity: Kept until you delete your household. That's meals you mark cooked, recipes you skip, leftover choices, items marked low, recall check results, and a history of changes so you can undo them.
Forwarded receipts: we keep the store name and food items, not the email.
Your email address and sign-in: Kept while your household exists. Sign-in codes and links work once and expire after 10 minutes. Records of past sign-in requests are cleared within an hour.
Connections to ChatGPT or Claude: a connection keeps working while you use it, and stops after 90 days without use. Records of past connections are kept until you delete your household.
Usage records: how much AI work each household used, with no content from your household. Kept until you delete your household.
Server logs: Our logs record counts and errors, not your household's names, email address or food details. Deleting your household doesn't remove them.
Backups: we don't make automatic backups. From time to time we download a copy of our database by hand, so a server problem can't wipe out your kitchen. Deleting your household doesn't remove it from copies made before then.
Billing (once billing is on): our record of your plan is erased when you delete your household. Deleting your household doesn't yet cancel anything at Stripe. Stripe keeps its own records under its own policy.
When you delete your household in the app (household settings โ Delete household), we erase your household and everything tied to it from our live database right away. That includes people, rules, kitchen, plans, lists, recipes, recipe photos, receipts, your activity and usage records, and every ChatGPT and Claude connection stops working. If no other household uses your email address, your sign-in records go too. It doesn't reach:
our server logs;
backup copies made before you deleted (see above);
what the companies listed above already received, which they keep under their own policies;
anything already in your ChatGPT or Claude conversations.
Deleted information can also stay in unused space inside our database file until it's written over.
When you email [email protected] and ask us to delete your data, we delete your household for you by hand, in the same way. We answer these ourselves, usually within a couple of days.
Children
An adult sets up the household. You may add children as eaters so their allergies and preferences are respected โ that is the point. Children do not have their own accounts and we do not market to them.
Changes
If we change how any of this works in a way that affects you, we will email you before it takes effect, not after.
